Ursula's marriage to John Ragland is evidenced by entry in "Where Have All The Children Gone", Louisa County, Va., quoted by Wayne Dunn in an e-mail 25 Dec 1998: 13 April 1772 On the motion of Shirley Tisdale and Ursula his wife Widow of John Ragland Dec'd. to have her Dower laid off from the estate of her former husband who died intestate leaving two infants Mary and Sarah. Ordered that Samuel Ragland, Gent. be appointed Gdn. to sd. orphans."
