Frances Marks' portrait was painted "ca. 1740" by Gustavus Hesselius (1682-1755). The portrait apparently descended in the family to Frances Priestley Toulmin (Mrs. H. S. Griffith), who sold it about 1975. In 1994, it is owned by Frank Schwarz & Son, Philadelphia.
