"Born 1665 (Deposition on 4-1-1689; he was then 24 years old.)
Moved to St. James Parish, now Goochland Cunty, Va., before 1727.
1691 got 265 from Richard Perrin (p. 269 Henrico Deed Book)
1691 sold 60 ac. to Wm. Soane (p. 215 Ditto)
1693 divided with brother John 500 ac. inherited from their father (p. 439 Henrico D.B.)
1701 got 126 ac. on Cornelius Cr. (Land Bk. 9-390)
1722 got 400 ac. (Ld. Bk. 11-87, Henrico)
1723 265 ac. to sons John and Joseph (Valentine Papers, p. 1432); later sold be them to Wm. Randolph.
1724 got 400 ac. on r. of Chickahominy Swamop (L.B. 12-18)
1727 Act permitted sale of entailed land Hening
1727 sold 550 ac. to Thomas Randolph (part of 1637 {1657?} grant)
In 1704 he owned 1,444 ac. in Goochland Co., Va. (See 28 V 211; 32 V 392; Val. Papers, pp 1419-20).
One Thomas Farrar, Jr., signed bond with him to secure deed of 2-5-1727 to Thos. Randolph.
1738 deed 400 ac. in fork of Tuckahoe Creek, 'where I now dwell,' to son Joseph Farar (D.B. 3-182, Goochland Co., Va.)
His will dated 2-28-1740, was proved 6-15-1742 (Will Book 3-561, Goochland Co., Va.) The will mentions, among others, grand-daughters Elizabeth and Lucy Farrar, and Mary Wtkins, who are not identified on this chart. See 8 V 42.
Marriage license {to Katherine Perrin} returned Oct. 1 - 1686.
The will of Michael Turpin (Court 6-2-1701) makes his brother Thos. Fararr, guardian of his sons Michel and John
