Hienton, P.G. Heritage: An original vestryman of St. Paul's Parish, Calvert Co., when founded by Act of General Assembly in 1692 (p.57). Became an official of Prince George's County when it was organized in 1696. He witnessed Ninian Beall's deed of gift of property to establish a Presbyterian church in 17xx (p.92), but was not a trustee under the deed, so apparently remained in the Established Church. He and Alexander Magruder were among the eleven original commissioners appointed by the General Assembly when that body chartered Upper Marlboro in 1706 (p. 121).
